Patrick Michaels
I was trained in Classical Traditional Training using the Dorothy Taubman Technique. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, I have done graduate work in piano performance and continue to study the Taubman method.
I have been teaching piano for 35 years. In my studio, I use an informal, welcoming and encouraging attitude with high expectations. I currently have 30 piano students ranging in age from 5 to 80 all with varying degrees of piano competency.
I want to encourage a lifetime love of music and learning in my students. I want them to make music daily including making music for themselves as well as others.
